After the play, James continued to stare at the Lakers bench while his teammates stared back in sh*ck. The play also affected Magic Johnson, a legend on the Lakers.
In Game 2 of the 2013 NBA Finals, James denied Tiago Splitter, even though it was nearly eleven years ago.
According to ESPN Stats & Information, James had 27 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds in a Game 1 defeat to the Nuggets. It was his 150th career playoff game with 25 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds, the most ever.
The Nuggets have defeated the Lakers in five straight postseason games going into Monday, which is tied for the second-longest victory streak over the Lakers in postseason history.
