“I had a good time with my kids” Vanessa Bryant Shares Heartwarming Video of Daughters Bianka and Capri Playing Basketball on Family Vacation in New York City

Vanessa Bryant and her two youngest daughters had a great time on a girls’ trip to New York City.

The 42-year-old widow of the late basketball great Kobe Bryant, who on what would have been Gigi’s 18th birthday sent a sorrowful message to her late daughter, posted pictures and videos of her trip to New York City with her four-year-old daughter Capri and seven-year-old Bianka on Instagram on Sunday.

The three of them relished checkers games, picnics in the park, sushi dinners, and doll store excursions.

Additionally, Vanessa posted a video of Bianka shooting baskets alongside WNBA player Sabrina Ionescu.

“Enjoyed my weekend in NYC with my babies,” she wrote as the caption for the carousal. “Happy that we were able to see ‘Beana’ @sabrina_i”

On Sunday, Vanessa posted pictures and videos of her trip to New York City with Bianka, 7, and Capri, 4.

Uncertainty surrounded whether 21-year-old Natalia, Vanessa and Kobe’s eldest daughter, had traveled to New York.

Earlier this month, Vanessa wrote, “Happy birthday to my gorgeous girl, Gigi!” alongside a montage of Gigi’s images and videos. I cherish you. You are missed. I’m so happy for you.

During a social media birthday tribute, she considered how Gigi would have selected a college and graduated from high school this year.

In January 2020, Gigi and her father Kobe lost their lives in a horrific helicopter crash in Calabasas. Seven additional people lost their life in the same tragic crash.

The year 2024 was yours. As a high school graduate, you would have been selecting which institution to attend. (I would have done everything in my power to persuade you to remain nearby.)

Vanessa said, “I’m proud of the change in sports you and Daddy worked so hard on.” “You inspire and motivate young ladies and girls every day. Mommy, I will always adore you.

At the time of the unfortunate tragedy, Kobe and Gigi were 41 and 13, respectively. The crash claimed the lives of Christina Mauser, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, and pilot Ara Zobayan.

Fans will always cherish Kobe’s 20-season NBA tenure with the Lakers.

The sports icon spearheaded the Los Angeles Lakers legendary run in the 2000s, winning five titles and two Finals MVPs.

Gigi shared Kobe’s love for basketball and was a player at the Mamba Sports Academy where she was closely mentored by her father.

After their death, Orange County supervisors voted unanimously to declare August 24 as ‘Kobe Bryant Day’ as the date holds Kobe’s legendary jersey numbers. The City of Los Angeles started the tradition earlier as they began honoring it after his retirement.

Bryant was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on May 15, 2021.
