A young girl fan’s cheeky reaction to sitting next to GOAT LeBron James going viral

As if anyone needed more evidence of how well regarded LeBron James is

After being published online, a video of a young basketball fan’s shock at realizing she was seated next to the greatest player of all time went viral.

CNN reports that a young child named Gaia attended the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game and was given the greatest seat in the house.

Despite being unable to play because of an ankle injury, the all-time top scorer in NBA history wasn’t going to let the action pass him by.

The 12-year-old girl seated courtside was casually pulled aside by a man wearing a denim jacket and a green beanie to take a seat.

As soon as Gaia saw who had taken the seat next to her, she mentally calculated quickly.

LeBron James, the singularity

The little fan covered her mouth to keep her emotions from the enormous man since she was unable to express her excitement and shock. But she was unable to accomplish that.

The NBA veteran was taller than the person occupying the seat next to him even while he was seated.

When her reaction was seen by television cameras and went viral, fans couldn’t get enough of it. The NBA shared the video on Twitter.

“Perfect response for sitting next to the goat!” exclaimed one guy.

“This is the only appropriate reaction when King James sits next to you,” said a different commenter.

A third individual said, “She’s no different than me [for real].”

Gaia was able to communicate with Lisa Salters, an ESPN reporter covering the game from the sidelines.

“When he ended up sitting down here,” Gaia explained to the reporter, “it’s obvious that I’m not as tall as him, so I could only see his shoes.”

“Then I look up, and there’s LeBron James sitting next to me, and what’s going through my mind is, ‘Oh my God, the greatest player of all time in basketball is sitting next to me!’”

“I just completely lose it, and all that’s going through my head is, ‘Oh my goodness, this is probably the best moment of my life.’”

That is a very logical response.

Gaia revealed that the tickets were given to her with the idea that she would be able to see LeBron break his record during that game.

She was quite sad that she couldn’t watch James play at all.

But there is little doubt that this experience more than compensated.

She even got to meet the NBA legend, and the Lakers even published a photo of the two of them together after the game.
